In honor of Nikki, and in the spirit of her blog,
I decided to share with you how I live my life, my way.
{See what I did there?}
You see, I had two separate families as a child of divorce, and felt pulled in multiple directions.
What I learned from this, is that you can't please everyone, and I needed to find what made ME happy.
I was supposed to attend business school and run the family business.
I chose to get my Bachelors in English.
"It's just as easy to fall in love with a rich man, as a poor man" was drilled into my head,
and I was supposed to marry a doctor or a lawyer.
and I was supposed to marry a doctor or a lawyer.
I fell in love with a soldier.
Just look at him. You can't blame me...
I began planning a big fancy wedding.
We eloped.
Just look at him. You can't blame me...
We eloped.
We were going to buy a Weimaraner.
I found a Weimaraner rescue, and we ended up with the only mutt they had.
Part weimaraner, part who knows.
Just look at those EYES...
Part weimaraner, part who knows.
Just look at those EYES...
I should have a career by now.
I am taking my time, instead of settling.
Noticing the pattern?
If you've ever been to my blog, you know that I am a VERY happy person.
Do you think I would be as happy if I did what I was supposed to do?
I think NOT.
I challenge you all to live your life, your way, and
I'm sure Nikki will back me up on this.
Feel free to keep us updated, and good luck!
Thanks for having me, girl, and we can't wait till you return :)
